I am a board certified Hematologist and Oncologist. My goals are to carry out clinical and basic research in Oncology, teaching Medical Students and Residents how to care for patients with neoplasms. I trained at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. I am currently Director of Hematology and Oncology at the Faculdade de Medicina da Fundação ABC, Santo André, Brazil and Head of Medical Oncology at the Brazilian Institute for Cancer Control (IBCC). I am currently Coordinator of the Oncology and Hematology Service at Hospital do Coração (HCOr) in São Paulo, Brazil.
